Baby Joseph is Here!

Joseph Hines McKinley was born on September 25, 2009, at 7:33am. He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches long. We are so happy to finally have him here! He is such a blessing and a very sweet baby! Sarah has been very good with him so far. Of course, he's not very threatening to her right now, so we'll see if that changes in the next few months!

Sarah Turns 2!

On August 13, 2009, Sarah turned 2 years old! What a fun birthday party we had! We invited mostly family, with a few friends from daycare. Sarah had such a fun time opening presents and blowing out the candles on her Dora cake! Then, we went to the backyard to play in the sprinklers and baby pool! What fun! Everyone took really good naps that afternoon!

Blog Neglect

Wow! It has been so long since my last post. We have found out that we are having a little boy this time, and after the initial shock wore off, we began to get really excited! We just hope that Sarah shares this enthusiasm. We have decided to name him Joseph Hines, after Eric's father (and my maiden name). We took a family vacation to the beach and then visited my dad's for July, 4th. We really haven't stopped in the past two months! I've included a new slide show at the bottom to update everyone! March/April '09

Big News!

So I guess you can see by the new ticker at the right side of the page that we are expecting another baby! We couldn't be more excited! We only hope that Sarah shares in our excitement in October when she is no longer the center of all attention! The past month has been pretty rough, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just 7 months to go!

Happy New Year!

Well, it has certainly been an exciting 2008! Where does the time go? I cannot believe Sarah is 16 months old! She is such a little lady already, and she seems to be changing every day. Thank you to everyone who has helped me out this past year and for all of the wonderful gifts and advice you have given us. We are so blessed to have such loving family and friends. There is so much to look forward to in the new year, and we just pray that God continues to bless us as he has this past year. We can't wait to meet Baby Girl "Thurmond" (who is yet to be named) and little Baby Brad who will be here before we know it! (hang in there, Amaris!) Eric's sister, Suzanne, who got engaged last night (YEAH!!!), has a wonderful year to look forward to as she begins to plan her life with Ken and Julienne. I wish everyone many blessings and a Happy New Year!
